The “Summer of Smiles” project for children with cancer and their families is giving you the chance for an outstanding experience at the Mini Israel Park located in Latrun, between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The park is planned in the shape of a Star of David, which can be seen both on the map and on the grounds, marked by a wide, reddish path, and is divided into six main areas: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, the South, the North, the Center, and a general model area.
The Ezra LeMarpeh Association, founded by Rabbi A. E. Firer, provides assistance to the sick and needy.
Fun at Mini Israel
A lot of thought went into giving each area the special character of its unique geography, and in locating sites in the right places inside it, all creating a mirror image of our country. In each area you will be able to find the important sites and buildings located in it in real life. The meticulous planning and construction make a visit to the park just like visiting a miniature version of Israel. The Golan Heights overlook the Sea of Galilee, Mt. Carmel overlooks the Bahai Gardens and the Haifa Port, we can see the Dead Sea from Massada, and the Western Wall is visible from the entrance of Jerusalem’s Old City. Inside and around the models, tiny people enact scenes describing Israeli everyday life and culture, and among them a miniature Israeli flora developed especially for the park. If this experience appeals to you, hurry and sign up. The offer is limited to four tickets per family.
