As part of Ezra Le’marpe’s “Children of Life” project headed by Rabbi Elimelech Firer, tens of children with cancer went on a dream vacation in Eilat, the children came together from all the hospitals in Israel for a one week vacation and a break from their trying treatments. The children stayed at the Fattal hotel chain's Magic Sunrise Hotel and enjoyed amazing hospitality!
The Ezra LeMarpeh Association, founded by Rabbi A. E. Firer, provides assistance to the sick and needy.
Dream Vacation in Eilat 2013
The entire hotel staff was committed to helping the children and their chaperones catering to their every request, the children were accompanied by an experienced team of volunteers and by a special medical team trained for such trips. In addition to 5 daily meals, the children enjoyed all the attractions and sites in the area, whose owners also gladly helped to make the trip a successful one. The children enjoyed the underwater observatory, the oceanarium, the IMAX theater, the dolphin reef, a nighttime ride on a luxurious yacht, the pirates’ bay, paragliding, motorboats, paddle boats, jet skis, banana boats, raft boats, an SUV trek, the Kings City, ice skating, karaoke night and more… before leaving Eilat the children visited the Kfar Hashashuim toy store and were allowed to take whatever their hearts desired. We would like to note the great contribution of Mr. David Fattal, who contributes to helping the Ezra Le’marpe children, and especially the children of this particular group, throughout the year, as well as the Egged Company who donated buses, which accompanied the group for 24 hours and helped the trip go as planned. And, of course, the owners of the attractions and sites who put their hearts into helping these sick children.
